Yay for the people who decide the emmy nominations. 3/5 of writing to Arrested Development, and 3 acting noms! (check
http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=3781 for season 2 box set artwork and
http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=3771 for episode info). Yay 2 noms for Scrubs, another show that does not get the success it deserves, and is not nearly critically acclaimed enough. Yay Hugh Laurie, who makes House so delightful to watch. Yay Lost, although I was too busy to get into it, the few episodes I saw were fantastic, and I'll try to get the DVD to catch up for season 2. Boo to Desparate Housewives as a comedy, when it should be in a category of its own, from what I hear anyway. Maybe there should be a whole new dramadey category for shows like that. I can't think of any others at the moment, but if you can post them for me. Boo to no noms for The Office, a show that caused me to laugh out loud every episode, for the better part of the 22 minutes. Huh? for Huff, which from what I have heard is not that brilliant (although I love Hank Azaria), and Patricia Arquette, whose breathy high-pitched voice in Medium distracted me from enjoying it.
